5 Common ISTA-6 Failure Modes and How to Fix Them

Amazon and its APASS lab network have catalogued the failure patterns that kill ISTA-6 submissions. Most are avoidable with a pre-test audit. Here are the five that account for the majority of first-run failures.

1. Protruding Tuck Flaps and Unsecured Box Bottoms

End flaps secured only with tamper-evident stickers, partial tape, or auto-bottom (“123”) boxes without full tape closure are the single most common failure category.
